Annabelle in the Plush

Ever since I started reading Nightmares and Fairytales, I've wanted an Annabelle doll...but when I saw the one they sold at the SLG store...I wasn't too impressed. [link] I thought the colors were off, and I wanted to make her the way I thought she should be. (there are aparrantly two versions of her coloring...one entirely red, white and black, and one purple, yellow, red, white and black...O_o I've seen them both in cover art for the comic)

And so, I now have my very own Annabelle!
(Oh, and she DOES have a mouth, it's just covered by the collar on her dress. ^^)

Kay, I'ma tell you how I made her various pieces...
The eyes I embroidered on there, but the center bits are actually snaps sewn on with red thread.
The hair is made from that new type of yarn that's got bits hanging off of it...I think it's called eyelash yarn? Anyway...the hair was made basically the way normal doll hair is made...I did a spiral from the top of her head to the base, then I put the yarn on in rows.
I made it curl by tying string 'round the pigtails sort of like how her shoes are constructed...don't ask me how it works, I'm just glad it does.
Her dress I burned on the stove-top burners we have...I couldn't find any matches...I did it by bunching up the fabric, burning a small patch, then blowing out the flame, and blowing on the ember-type things left over to make a hole.
Her buttons are made of clay, which I painted with fabric paint.
Her barrette I made out of two halves of an emory board, filed down to a round...thing. Painted again with fabric paint.
The shoes aren't ribbon, but this white cloth stuff I found in Shive's costume room.
The collar I cut, then embellished with fabric paint.
